1. The Proceedings of OIT08 will be published by SPIE and will be indexed by EI and ISTP. Please strictly follow the abstract and manuscript specifications to prepare your abstract and manuscript. The specifications can be found at the address of SPIE: http://spie.org/x570.xm

2. Please pay particular attention to the due date of abstract and manuscript submission.

3.It is requested that at least one author of your contributed paper(s) should attend the conference of OIT08 to give the oral or poster presentation. Otherwise, your contributed paper(s) may not be published on the OIT’08 Proceedings.

4. The maximum number of contributed papers is 3 for each author whose name appears as the first author.

5. The submitted abstract should be 300-400 words to reflect clearly your contents of paper.

6.For Chinese authors, author names should appear like this: [Given name, FAMILY NAME]. The author’s family name should appear in all capital letters.

7.The abstract (and manuscript) should be submitted electronically by the way of SPIE and OIT website. The steps are as follows:
         i) In the MySPIE “Sign In” webpage, you have to create your MySPIE  account according to the instruction.
        ii) The item of “Primary Author Information” on the OIT website should be filled out in order to register your communication information.

8. The abstract (and manuscript) acceptance notice will be announced on the OIT website(s). The OIT08 website is: http://www.oe-oem.org/oit.
